Oh Lordy!!!

My goodness...its been such a long time since i've posted. I've been so busy with my husband and the house with helping him in getting ready for the upcoming deployment that's only a couple of months away. We are also slowly breaking down the things we own in the house to be sold, trashed, or put in storage. I'll be moving to Lancaster, PA to live with my in-laws while my DH is deployed. He'll be gone about a year. So the only things going with me up there is our bed, my clothes and items, some of his clothes and my daughter's barely used dresser and changing table incase we are pregnant again. Her old clothes and stroller and such are already up there in storage in their attic until such a time as another baby comes along. Well this is all for now as I must get some work down around the house. I promise another post really soon.

Bank Cards

Sometimes I just want to take my bank card and just shred it. Yesterday I was trying to pay off the remainder of my daughter's burial plot and I got a call back like 20 minutes after I thought I had paid and they said my card was declined probably due to my bank having a set amount that you can't go over in spending which I'm guessing is $500. So now I'm thinking I need to call my bank and find out what the max spending limit is and then call the memorial park place and make my payments accordingly. I just wish things could be easier, especially when it comes to personal things like this. Anywho, my day again will be spent washing loads and loads of clothes and spot cleaning other rooms. YAHOO!!!

Crunch Time

So my hubby tells me this morning after coming home from morning PT that there is a couple that wants to rent out our room. This is a couple we have become friendly with and well the guy just recently got demoted so that's 250 less on his paycheck and I guess that 250 makes or breaks him being able to afford the trailer he is renting. Now our house is small and we only have one bathroom. Yes we do have an extra room but we've taken the guest bedroom down to prepare putting boxes and stuff back there. My husband will be deploying out in a few short months and we need all the room we can get to pack everything into it before we move it all to storage. Now I want to help this couple but I really don't know if we honestly have the room plus we also value our privacy and it's been hard to have ppl sleep over in the house since our daughter died. Anybody have any suggesetions as to what I can do....? Well on to happier things...Our weekend in Gatlinburg was so much fun. We did more walking than anything but hey we needed it. I haven't seen a fireworks show for a little under 2 years now and this is the first one i've been able to see and man let me tell you it was so beautiful. I only wish i had gotten pictures of it. So the next vacation time will be a 4 day weekend for labor day coming up. My husband and I are wanting to do something fairly cheap. We were thinking camping but then again we'd also like to go somewhere out of state but within a days drive. Anybody have any suggestions....we're at Fort Campbell, KY if you do. Well I guess I am off to excercise and shower. Tootles for now.

Gatlinburg

Tomorrow thru Sunday my hubby and I are heading down to beautiful Gatlinburg Tennesse for our 4th of July weekend. I'm so looking forward to it. We haven't had much time to do a lot of things together and seeing as he is deploying at the end of this year, I want to do as much as possible together. So this should be fun. I plan on lots of photos and lots of fun. :)

2 months

2 days ago was the 2-month mark since my little girl passed away. It doesn't seem that it's been that long since she's been gone. I really miss her but I know she's in a better place and I know that with my husband and I being so young, we will have more children but they'll never take her place. She was our first.

I'm half way through with decopauging my box. It's turning out somewhat how I thought it would. My husband and I have decided to start trying for another baby again. Hopefully we'll get lucky and get pregnant quick. As for my journal project, I've only come up with about 70 or so prompts. I still have a little under 300 to come up with so any thoughts are welcomed.

Well, today sure is gloomy. I've had to turn on more than just my normal lamp to see more. Maybe it'll rain. I love rainy days, they always get me in a crafty mood. :) My hubby and I will soon have to be packing up because he will be deploying at the end of this year and I'll be moving in with his parents while he is gone. This gets me to thinking about what kind of house I would want. Seeing as how I love to craft so much, I'd love to be able to have an area that could be an office/craft space. After looking online I found this great idea for inspiration for a craft space. Pictured above is what I found. Simply delicious! LOL! I've decided that while i'm still here, I should probably organize my craft stuff to see what I have and all that jazz. So for a fun project, I have an old cigar box and one of those plastic 3-shelf office organizer that I'm going to try and decopauge. This would be my first time attempt at this so it should be quite fun to see what it turns out like. I'll make sure to post before and after pictures. That's all for now. ^_^

So, I'm on this site www.swap-bot.com and it's just the coolest site ever if you love to create things to swap and all that. I've hosted a few swaps on there, and lately i've been getting into more and more into journal type swaps so I have this idea to host a new one called 365-Journal A Day Prompts and if anybody reads this, I was wondering if you all have any ideas for some journal prompts seeing as though I need to think of 365 of them. :D Thanks!
